TUNGSTEN returned to the herd at age 6 with great thanks to our friend Gena Herzinger of BARBWIRE Alpines. It is Gena's efforts in her breeding program that has provided the USDA proofs for TUNGSTEN to obtain his "+" and linear appraisal daughter average to date. With the success we have had with TROJAN, another GCH TSAVOLITE son, we are happy to welcome this proven senior herdsire back home.

TUNGSTEN has great length of body, dairyness and a long & level rump. Shown for the first time at age 6, he earned his first championship leg at the Lelia Berry Memorial Feather Boa Fuzzy show in Grants Pass, Oregon in May. His excellent appraisal session here this summer included Excellent scores in Head, Shoulder Assembly, Back and Rump. We look forward to reincorporating TSAVOLITE's beautiful style into the herd through his daughters.

Our thanks to Scott Rocha of Tideland Dairy for giving TUNGSTEN a great opportunity to obtain further proof with extensive use in their breeding program...and for the semen back so we can use him this fall!
