TOPAZ is a sharp, dairy doe with a smothly blended front-end. Shown only at fairs as a kid, she was junior champion and Best in Show at the Western Washington State Fair, the largest show in the state. She finished the season winning the All-American title over TRAVERTINE.
She freshened in mid-April with a very shapely, productive mammary. Her rear udder width is impressive and teat placement near ideal. She traded places at the shows with TRAVERTINE and was 2nd/1st udder at the Clackamas County Fair in Canby, OR and ended the year 1st/1st udder at the Central Washington State Fair in Yakima, WA. Paired with TSAVOLITE, they were a hard to beat Produce of Dam group. I'm hoping that she'll be able to put on more weight this winter and deepen out to give her the needed balance in side profile.
With all the attention that her sister TSAVER has gotten this year, it wasn't hard to decide who to breed her to this fall...not surprisingly, her first doe kid has a home here to stay.
