2012 ADGA National Show 5th Senior Yearling
2011 Reserve All-American Senior Kid
2011 Idaho Syringa BIS Junior Doe |
RITE is a fifth freshening, six year-old, cou clair and the largest doe in the herd. She is a "B1G Gene" carrier (as I call it) as was seen in her dam, and now in her daughters TELLUROCKER & TELLEMARKIT...so the size does not come as a surprise (40 stature). As a senior kid, she was Junior Champion & Best in Show at the Idaho Syringa for her first championship win. As a senior yearling, she was 5th place at the Loveland, Colorado ADGA National Show.
Her two year-old freshening produced a beautifully high and wide rear udder and ideal teat size & placement and udder shape to the floor. Her appraisal score met my goal of "30+ first 5," in other words, a score of 30 or higher for the first five linear traits, and that's something you don't often see in first freshening two year-olds! Her first show as a senior doe was at the District VII Alpine Specialty where she was 2nd/1st udder under judge Jennifer Bice. She wasn't shown during our fair show season due to an allergic reaction to our clipper blade wash (which we discovered after several tests and drying her-up early). Her daughter TELLUROCKER was 1st place senior kid at the St. Paul, Minnesota ADGA National Show & Reserve Junior Champion!
RITE started the 2014 show season off finishing her championship at the Lelia Berry 'Feather Boa Fuzzy' over quality competition with 2 champion wins and a Best of Breed title over TABASHEER. 2015 was her most impressive year yet with much more mammary capacity and increased depth of body she has been Best in Show 3 times and twice Best Udder in Show! Not only has she done well in the ring, but both of her daughters, TEMLLEMARKIT was 5th place milking yearling & 2 year-old TELLUROCKER was 2nd/3rd udder at the ADGA National Show. Her 2015 daughter by ANDRETTI looks just like her and was Reserve Junior Champion at the 2016 Washington State Fair!
