RAINDROP (because I used to call her dam "RAINY") is a smoothly blended doe excelling in general appearance. A late-born kid in July, she was reserve junior champion at the Central Washington State Fair and first junior yearling at the Spokane ADGA National Show the following summer.
She freshened with a shapely mammary and shows excellent dairy style. Shown at her advantage in the spring shows, she was undefeated as a milking yearling. At her disadvantage at the summer fairs, she was still Reserve Champion at the Thurston County Fair from the two year-old class. Her promising two year-old appraisal included excellent scores in back and rump.
SAPPHIRE was sold to local friends where I have been able to watch her mature. Last summer I pleaded to be able to show her again and owners Kris & Kaiti Kolke were kind to let me give RAINDROP one more weekend of fun in the limelight. As I expected, she finished her championship at the Roseburg DGA pictured above. Pictured below is SAPPHIRE at the 2006 California State Fair as a first freshening 2 year & 1 month old!
