RUBY is an exciting doe with tremendous promise. She is long and tall with great bone, feet, legs and a level topline. Her mammary has beautiful shape in side profile with what promises to be my finest fore udder ever! As a two year-old in 2010, she freshened uneven and a little late in the year to milk-off some excess conditioning (pictured below, center at only 4 weeks fresh). I feel this doe will only get better each year. Our appraiser was in agreement that her mammary will be spectacular in the years to come as she comes from a long line of beautifully uddered does.

Her second freshening has earned her a lot of showring attention especially for her stellar fore udder. She is milking well and the excess weight is comming off...just not fast enough to consistently be named the Grand Champion early in the season! She earned her first qualifying championship win at the Idaho Syringa in May, a second leg in June as a reserve champion winner and finished at the Western Idaho Fair in August. She was 1^st/1^st udder at the Western Idaho, Oregon State and Western Washington Fairs with excellent competition present.

Her 2011 twin daughters by FREELANCE are beautiful, with MISS RUBY CHIP winning junior champion at the Western Washington Fair to cap-off a great season for the family!
