2006 California State Fair 3rd Senior Kid

RUBY is a beautiful, red chamoisee and was my mother's pick from all the kids on her last visit. Mom always could spot a winner and RUBY was no exception, winning Grand and Best in Show at the Magic Valley DGA in Filer, ID at her first show. She freshened with a "Snapple-like" mammary and her senior doe debut was at the Wildrose DGA where she was part of my Best Dairy Herd in Show. A maternal half sister to CINNABARINA, together they were 4th place Produce of Dam at the 2007 ADGA National Show in Gillette. She continued to deepen and fill-out over the summer, really shining on appraisal day and ended the year 1st/1st udder at the Western Washington Fair.

As a two year-old she has only stood behind
TELLURIAN, otherwise she has been the judges' favorite including 1st/1st udder and Reserve Champion at the District VII Alpine Specialty in Boise, Idaho as well as the competitive Western Washington Fair. Her excllent appraisal had our highest rear udder score in the herd! She is a fourth generation, excellent appraising doe representing the finest mammary systems I have bred.

This is a doe that I REALLY miss. She passed away from salmonella shortly after freshening as a three year-old. I was fortunate to have two champion daughters from her, and her gorgeous look-alike granddaughter GCH MISS RUBY CHIP who was the 2012 ADGA National Show Reserve Junior Champion.
