A broken two-tone chamoisee, CINNABAR is another one of our beautiful Storm daughters. She is very strong in general appearance and has short, strong pasterns and correct shape to her feet. CINNABAR was a dry yearling 4-H lease project and was not part of our regular show string for Y2K. We were thrilled when she was named junior champion at the Ohio State Fair youth show over 35 Alpine junior does!
As a two year-old, she freshened with a nearly flawless mammary with ideal teat placement and incredible rear udder height (48) and fore udder extension (42). With confidence, her mammary is the most structurally correct I have seen in many years. She finished her championship as a two year-old and was part of my winning Supreme Dairy Herd in Show at the Evergreen State Fair. Paired with her dam, Carly, they were undefeated as dam & daughter each time shown. As a second freshening 3 year-old she gained even more capacity as is shown in her excellent mammary appraisal. Cinnabar reflects the steady, mature progression that I breed for scoring EX90 as a 4 year-old last summer. I'm thrilled to have four maternal sisters to her in the herd to work with in my breeding program.
