CHRYSTINA is an exciting seven year-old that greatly resembles her dam not only in color but in productivity and style. She is long and level with excellent feet & legs. As a kid, she earned her restricted leg at the Southwest Washington Star Bangled Banner weekend and was the All-American Intermediate Kid. She decided to not settle as a yearling but had a successful show season winning Reserve Champion at the District Specialty and Champion junior doe at the Oregon State Fair before being named All-American for a second straight year.
Her two year-old freshening was everything that her breeding envisioned. WOW what an udder! Her mammary is even more impressive than her dam's was as a first freshener with a fore udder score of 42! Her appraisal session included Excellent scores in; head, front legs and back. She finished her championship at the North Valley DGA in Red Bluff, CA going 3x GCH, BOB and BU with quality California competition (pictured above). At the National Show she was 2nd/2nd udder 2 year-old and a member of our 5th place dairy herd & breeder's trio groups. She ended the season as 1st/1st udder at the Washington State Fair and was named Reserve Senior Champion behind the reserve National Champion (pictured below, left).
As a three year-old, her second freshening has provided additional capacity and even more attention in & out of the ring! She was 1st/1st udder 3 year-old and Reserve Best Udder at the ADGA National Show! Unfortunately she has had some breeding issues that caused her to take 2015 off, but we were very happy to get her back into milk for 2016 and hope to have daughters to retain in 2017...and from the results of her first two ultrasounds, it looks good so far for ANDRETTI kids in March 2017...and we got 2 does!
