CARLY was favorite for her distinctive caramel-red chamoisee coloring. As a fancy milking yearling, she won her class with first udder every time with one exception at the Ohio State Fair behind 3 of her paternal sisters. She is very smoothly blended in front end assembly and was one of the longest and tallest does in the 2 year-old class at the 2000 ADGA National Show. Her second freshening gave her more capacity and greater rear udder width. She was 4th of 24 two year-olds (the first four were all Phenomenon daughters) and part of the 1st place senior get of sire at the Ohio State Fair where her daughters, Cinnabar was junior champion and Cryolite was 1st place junior kid. She became the fifth permanent champion Phenomenon daughter when she was reserve champion and reserve best udder at the Great Darke County Fair in Greeneville, Ohio that fall.

After moving to the west coast, she was only shown three times as a 3-year-old,  winning reserve champion at the Western Washington State Fair and the Evergreen State Fair where she was part of my Supreme Dairy Herd in Show. Mature at age 4, her excellent appraisal included EX scores for head, shoulder assembly, back, rump and udder texture. Again she was reserve champion at the Western Washington State Fair and part of our Supreme Dairy Herd in Show at the Central Washington State Fair. At 5, she's proved to be one of my best ever through her outstanding appraisal, milk and show records and as the star of my "C" gemstone line. Her contributions to my breeding and show programs are inmeasurable through her nine beautiful daughters that include the 2003 ADGA National Show 7th Produce of Dam and 9th Dam & Daughter groups. Her 6 year-old freshening came in late June after several failed A/I breeding attempts last fall, missing our entire spring show season. The extra time off was to her benefit earning Champion, Best of Breed & Best Udder titles at the Evergreen State Fair (9/03/2004) as well as another excellent FS-91 appraisal. Not to be forgotten, she is the dam of my first Spotlight Sale consignment, Cyprine who sold for an impressive $2,100!
